Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and us when you use our services. Short sentences, no surprises.

These terms apply when you use this website or engage Dhrishta Health Care Services ("Dhrishta", "we", "us") for home healthcare services in and around Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. By booking a service you accept these terms.

1. What we provide

We provide home healthcare support: home nursing, elder care, patient care, child care, personal care, day care and related services, delivered by trained caregivers, qualified nurses and visiting physiotherapists.

2. Booking and assessment

  • Every engagement begins with a free assessment. A care advisor visits your home, understands the routines and the needs, and proposes a care plan.
  • The care plan, including schedules, staffing and costs, is agreed with you before care begins. Nothing starts until you say yes.
  • Care usually begins within 24 to 48 hours of the assessment. Urgent requests are prioritised where possible.

3. Pricing and payment

  • Package prices shown on this website are indicative. Final pricing is confirmed after the assessment, because every home and every patient is different.
  • We accept UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and cash.
  • Advance payment at booking is optional. You may choose to pay after the service begins, as per your package terms.
  • A detailed invoice is provided for every billing cycle by email or WhatsApp.

4. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

  • You can cancel or reschedule a visit up to 12 hours before the scheduled time at no charge.
  • Cancellations within 12 hours of a scheduled visit may incur a one-visit charge.
  • Long-term packages can be paused or discontinued with 3 days' notice.
  • If you are not satisfied with an assigned caregiver, tell us within the first 3 days and we will replace them free of charge.
  • Unused prepaid amounts are refunded to the original payment method within 5 to 7 working days, after deducting charges for services already delivered.

5. Our staff

  • Every caregiver is identity-verified, background-checked and trained before their first assignment. Nurses hold GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualifications.
  • Our staff are engaged and paid by us. Please do not engage our staff privately outside the service; it removes the supervision and protections that keep care safe.
  • Supervisors review ongoing care, and you can raise a concern about any staff member at any time.

6. Medical care and its limits

  • All medical and nursing procedures are carried out strictly according to the instructions of the patient's treating doctor. We do not diagnose illnesses, prescribe medicines or change treatment plans.
  • Caregivers provide daily living support and are not medical professionals. Clinical procedures are performed only by qualified nurses.
  • In a medical emergency, call your hospital or the 108 ambulance service first, then inform us. Our team will assist and coordinate, but we are not an emergency medical service.

7. What we ask of you

  • Share accurate and complete information about the patient's condition, medications and doctor's instructions.
  • Provide a safe and respectful working environment for our staff in your home.
  • Tell us early when something changes: the condition, the routine, or your plans.

8. Liability

We take our duty of care seriously and carry out every service with trained people, written plans and supervision. Our responsibility is to deliver the agreed care plan diligently and to follow the treating doctor's instructions faithfully. We are not responsible for outcomes arising from the underlying medical condition itself, from instructions given by the treating doctor, or from information that was withheld from us. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Ending the service

You may discontinue the service as described in section 4. We may end or suspend a service where our staff face an unsafe environment or where payments remain unpaid after reasonable reminders, and we will tell you before doing so.

10. Website content

Articles on this website are general guidance for families and are not medical advice. Always consult the treating doctor for decisions about a patient's health.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
